Regionals have been moved from Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to Saturday Feb 20th @ Navajo, Monday Feb 22nd @ Burns Flat, and Tuesday Feb 23rd @ Burns Flat. Games at Navajo this Saturday start at 1:00 P.M.- Navajo vs Fort Cobb (Girls), 3:00 P.M.- Navajo vs Sterling (Boys), 6:00 P.M.- Cheyenne vs Sterling (Girls), 8:00 P.M- Cheyenne vs Fort Cobb (Boys). Each School has been issued 220 ticket vouchers to distribute to fans and those ticket vouchers are good for all 3 days. Tickets are $7 for adults and students. Only OSSAA passes are accepted. OSSAA mandates that we clear the gymnasium between games and masks are to be worn at all times unless eating or drinking.

Jackson County COVID-19 numbers have increased slightly from 30.9 OSSBA MAP (ORANGE LEVEL) to 36.1 (ORANGE LEVEL) OSSBA MAP. Navajo Public Schools WILL CONTINUE TRADITIONAL SCHOOL next week, February 16th-19th, weather permitting. We will continue taking safety precautions with the layered mitigation practices we have in place: wearing masks, social distancing as much as we can, cleaning/sanitizing buildings and high touch surfaces, washing hands/sanitizing hands, using personal water bottles and refilling at water bottle refill stations. Navajo Public Schools will be dismissing students today, February 10th at 12:30. Busses will be running at this time. Lunch will be provided before students are dismissed.

There will be no classes on campus for Thursday, February 11th. Classes will be held through distance learning either by Google Classroom or paper packets.

Additionally, there will be no Parent/Teacher Conferences for February 11th. We will provide more information at a later date.

Navajp Public Schools will be back in session on Tuesday, February 16th.

Congratulations to the Navajo Froshmore Academic Team for winning the Championship in Mathematics and Runner up in Social Studies. The team competed at Burns Flat on Wednesday February 3rd. All remaining regular season basketball games have been cancelled (tonight Feb 4th vs Sayre JH, Friday Feb 5th vs Mangum HS, and Monday Feb 8th @ Mangum JH). Playoffs are set and Navajo will play at Cheyenne February 12th and 13th. Navajo girls will play against Hollis on the 12th at 6:00 P.M. . Parent-Teacher conferences will be Thursday February 11th from 3:00-9:00 P.M. Parents of students in 7th-12th grade can sign up for parent teacher conferences with the following link https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D48A4AD2BA6FAC70-parentteacher Only sign up in one spot, you will get to visit with core teachers for 10 minutes then elective teachers for 10 minutes. If your child is in 7th-8th grade sign-up on JH slot, if in 9th-12th grade sign up for a HS slot. Only parents will be allowed in the building and must have an appointment.
