Title I - Parent-Family Engagement Policy
The United States Federal Government provides a number of benefit and assistance programs through public schools. Information on these programs and who to contact for more information can be found on this page.
In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity.
The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act helps ensure that each child of a homeless individual and each homeless youth has equal access to the same free, appropriate public education, including a public preschool education, as provided to other children and youths.
To make a referral of a homeless child, please contact Danielle Tucker at (580) 482-7742 or dtucker@navajo.k12.ok.us.
The purpose of Title I is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging State academic achievement standards and state academic assessments. Title I resources are directed to schools with high percentages of disadvantaged students.
To report fraud, waste, abuse, misuse or mismanagement of U.S. Department of Education (ED) program funds (this could include complaints concerning employees, fund recipients, educational institutions, contractors, collection agencies, or lending institutions), please contact the Office of Inspector General of the Department of Education Hotline. whistleblowerposter 1-800-409-9926
