Coach Weston Winters leads a consistently successful baseball program that is highly ranked and college preparatory. A former college baseball player, Altus native, and Navajo High School Alumni, Coach Winters is well-liked by the community and his players. He emphasizes the theme of family in developing outstanding athletes and responsible young men. In the just over ten years he has coached here, eight players have been recruited to play college baseball. In 2024 Coach Winters led the Navajo baseball team to the State Tournament.
