97th AMW Airmen participate in Veterans Day assembly at Navajo Public Schools.

This Week's Basketball Schedule (November 15-20): We will have home games every day except Wednesday. Monday: JHJV vs Hollis 4:30/5:30 in our JH Tournament; Tuesday JH/HS vs Granite, JH games start at 4:30, HS games start at 6:30; Thursday- JH girls/boys 6:30/7:30 vs teams TBA in tournament; Friday- Homecoming 6:00, games start at 6:30 vs Olustee-Eldorado; Saturday- JH Tournament

Homecoming is this Friday November 19th. We will have a Pulled Pork dinner available by donation only to support Navajo Athletics from 5:00-8:00 in the new gym lobby. The homecoming festivities will start at 6:00 and the games following. Student Council is sponsoring a Homecoming dance after the games until midnight. Students need to turn in dance contracts by this Wednesday November 17th. Come out and support Navajo Athletics!!!

Navajo FFA Labor Auction and Silent Auction Thursday November 11th @ Navajo Cafeteria at 5:30 P.M. Come for a fun filled evening supporting the Navajo FFA. If you have any questions please reach out to Emilie James at ejames@navajo.k12.ok.us

Basketball schedule for remainder of the week: Tuesday November 9th JH @ Hobart, girls at 6:30 followed by the boys. Thursday November 11th JHJV Tournament at Blair girls at 5:00, boys at 6:00. Friday November 12th HS vs Big Pasture, Girls at 6:30 followed by the Boys.

No School Thursday November 11th in observance of Veteran's Day. We will have a distance learning day Friday November 12th. No in-person school that day.

Veteran's Day Assembly this Wednesday November 10th at 8:30 A.M. We will start outside in between the Elementary and HS buildings for the singing of the National Anthem by Altus Air Force and then move into the new gym for the assembly. The public is welcome to attend.

Please be aware that November 12, 2021 is scheduled as a Distance Learning day. Students would need to check in online as indicated by their teacher. You may want to mark on your calendar that December 17, 2021 will also be a Distance Learning day.

Navajo basketball games will all be livestreamed at nfhsnetwork.com. The cost for a yearly subscription is 69.99 and monthly is 10.99. To access just go to nfhsnetwork.com and search for Navajo High School and subscribe and follow. Also home games will be broadcast on the radio on 93.5 FM.

Season Opener - Basketball Tipoff Party Oct 29 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM New Gym Parking Lot Free shirts, free food and a fun time! Come kick off the Navajo Basketball season with us. Everyone is invited!!! This is not an actual game, just a block party to celebrate the upcoming basketball season.

Red Ribbon Drug Free Week October 25-29th. Theme Days include: Monday- Put Drugs to Sleep (Wear Pajamas). Tuesday-Put a Cap on Drugs (Wear a Hat). Wednesday- Our School is Drug Free (Wear Red). Thursday- Drugs Can't Find Me (Wear Camo). Friday- Drugs are Scary (Wear a Halloween Costume. Schoolwide is encouraged to participate and be Drug Free!!!

Fall Carnival Saturday October 23rd in Old Gym and Cafeteria 5:00-8:00 PM. Tickets available 4 for $1 the night of or 5 for $1 presale. Come out and have a good time and support the Junior Class. Several carnival style games, halloween costume contest, concession, cake walk, bingo with great prizes!!!!
