Please come cheer on the Navajo Lady Indians as they play the Mooreland Lady Cats in the Regional Softball Tournament here at Navajo High School Thursday, April 25th, at 1:00. Admission for adults and students will be $5. Concessions will be available throughout the tournament. *Navajo students who bring money for admission may attend the game at 1:00. Tickets for students will be $5. Students who attend the game may eat lunch in the cafeteria or bring money to buy lunch from the concession stand.*

David Doss won first place in the OERB coloring contest. His artwork was displayed in the Capitol rotunda and he was honored at an awards ceremony at the science museum today. Thanks to Mrs winters for entering him in this contest.

The District Softball and Baseball Championships will be held at Navajo High School Wednesday, April 17th, through Friday, April 19th, 2019. Softball games will be Wednesday, April 17th, and baseball games will be Thursday, April 18th and 19th. Admission for adults and visiting students will be $5. Concessions will be available throughout the tournament. *Admission for Navajo students will be $2. Navajo students attending the games may bring money to eat lunch from the concession stand on Wednesday and Thursday.*


Congratulations to the Navajo Speech and Debate Team on their excellent showing at the State Speech and Debate Championship!!! Adria Lujan - 2nd in Dramatic Interpretation and 8th in Lincoln Douglas Debate; Shelby Wilson - 5th in Foreign Extemporaneous Speaking and 6th in Lincoln Douglas Debate; Liane Johnson and Gabby Tjalkens - 5th in Public Forum Debate.

These students competed against students from across the state to bring home high honors!!! Samuel Haines -- 1st in Biology II, 2nd in English Literature, 2nd in English Usage, 1st in Geometry; Chance Orick -- Personal Financial Literacy; Shelby Wilson -- 3rd in English Literature; Rhiannon Allen -- 1st in Algebra I; Karissa Dykens -- 2nd in Algebra II; Chris Cook -- 3rd in Plane Trigonometry; Brantley Wallace -- 1st in 9th and 10th Grade General Technology; Riley Newman -- 3rd in 11th and 12th Grade General Technology

Navajo Scholastic Sporting Clays teams had a great day at the Southwest Regional shoot in Duncan! Junior high team are Regional Champions, with Jordan Harrold winning 4th individual in the boys division and Kaydence Decker winning 3rd individual in the girls division. Our senior team finished as Regional Runner Ups, with Kya Funkhouser winning top senior female shooter and Cole Wagoner, with a perfect 25, tying two other shooters to end up 3rd overall senior male shooter. Carson Miller and Kreighton Holsey ended up tied for 5th senior individual. Both teams will advance to State on April10th in El Reno. Congratulations!!!



Navajo Pre-K enrollment will be held on Monday, April 15, from 8:30-10:00 a.m. in the Navajo School Library. All students will need their birth certificate and current shot record to enroll. Students that live outside the Navajo School district will need to fill out the “Transfer Application Form” that is found under the “Documents” tab on the school website. This form will need to be turned in with enrollment forms the day of enrollment. Transfers will be accepted after in district numbers have been determined and room is available.
