
Navajo Lady Indians are the Jeff Hart Memorial Lawton Coliseum Classic tournament CHAMPIONS!!!
Our boys team won were the consolation champions of the Jeff Hart Memorial Lawton Coliseum Classic tournament!!
It’s a great weekend to be an Indian! Way to go, Tribe!!


Our Navajo High School Basketball teams will be playing at Burns Flat-Dill City on Tuesday, January 10th at 4:30. Safe travels to our team and supporters!


Our 4-H Club will have its first meeting of 2023 on Wednesday, January 11th, from 3:00-4:30 in Mrs. Dunn's classroom!


Jeff Hart Memorial Lawton Coliseum Classic bracket update:
Our boys will be playing against Fletcher at 2:55 pm and our girls will be playing against Central at 4:20 pm.



Our high school basketball teams will play in the Jeff Hart Memorial Lawton Coliseum Classic tournament this Thursday, January 5th! The girls will be playing against Ryan at 10:45 am, and the boys will be playing against Dewar at 5:40 pm.

We are so excited to see you back at school, tomorrow, January 3rd! We understand that sometimes it is unavoidable to spread germs, but we just wanted to give a friendly reminder to not send your student to school if they are sick.

The class of 2026 is still collecting gently used shoes! If you're cleaning out your closets this Christmas break, please consider donating them to the Navajo High school class of 2026! There is a drop-off in the high school by the office.


If you ordered apparel from the Foundation School Store, please pick up your order between 10am and 2pm in the new gym on Friday, Dec. 23rd. If this time does not work for you, please comment below so that we can reach out to try to accommodate you!


A message from the Navajo School Foundation


Congratulations are in order for the Navajo National Honor Society and Navajo Ambassadors food drive winners! In first place, we have fifth grader Elijah Willis, who will receive $50.00! In second place, we have eighth grader, Ali Earls, who will receive $30.00. And in third place, we have Chloe Meler, who will receive $20.00.
We want to thank everyone that participated! The picture below is the second round of the can drive!!


We want to give a HUGE thank you to the Altus Fire Department for their generous donations of brand-new coats and a gift card to Walmart to buy necessities for our students, should a need arise. Thank you to Altus Fire Chief Joe Buchanan, firefighter, and Navajo alumni Sabastian Basaldua for dropping off their special delivery! We are truly blessed to have support from such a fantastic community!


Don't forget that our first through third grade classes will be singing their little hearts out under the direction of Mr. Justin O'Neil, this Thursday, December 15th at 6pm in the new gym! We hope to see you there! We hear that Santa and Mrs. Claus may make an appearance!
