Coach Thompson's 7th grade World Geography class has been working on building the Great Wall of China out of popsicles sticks! They did pretty awesome!
Here is the junior high and high school testing and awards schedule; please plan accordingly.
Applications for next year’s ambassadors are due Friday, May 19th. The application window opened on Thursday, May 4th. Students entering JH/ HS have a Google Form application on their Class Google Classroom, and elementary students entering 4-6th grade can pick up paper applications. All letters of references can be emailed to Mrs. Foret at rforet@navajo.K12.ok.us.
Our 8th-grade World History students completed a posterboard presentation about a president they randomly selected. This president had to serve prior to the Civil War.
Students worked on this project for six weeks. As they worked on this project, they researched their president and put together information in a graphic representation on their poster board.
Once their posterboard was finished, the last part of their project consisted of writing and giving a 3-minute speech in front of the entire 7th and 8th class.
We only have a week left of school, but we wanted to share the 2023-2024 school calendar link! https://www.navajo.k12.ok.us/documents/2023-2024-school-calendar/441962
