The Navajo High School Cheerleading tryouts will be held on Wednesday, August 30th, at 4:00 pm in the new gym! Cheerleading packets can be picked up outside the junior high/high school front office! The Navajo High School Baseball team will travel to Tupelo to participate in the Tupelo Baseball Tournament. The Navajo High School Baseball will play against the Calera Bulldogs on Thursday, August 17th, at 6:45 pm. We will update the bracket for Friday's games as it becomes available. Mrs. Dunn will be holding her first 4-H meeting of the 2023-2024 school year, tomorrow, Wednesday, August 16th, from 3:00-4:30 pm. Students will be preparing for the FREE Jackson County Fair! If you still need to register your child for 4-H, the registration can be found at https://4h.zsuite.org/.

Our Order Ahead lunch menu is now available for 5th through 12th-grade students. This lunch costs the same price as the regular lunch menu price. Students must place their order the night before or before school in the morning. Students will NOT be allowed to use their cell phones to order food once they are on school property.

If you were unable to attend the archery meeting yesterday and your 4-12th grade child would like to be a part of the Navajo Archery Club, not a problem! Archery will begin next month so there is still time! The 4-5th grade coach will be Weston Winters and Mrs. Foret will be the 6-12th grade coach. The Google Form includes how to sign up, order a shirt, and join GroupMe. The $30 dues can be sent in by cash or check. You should have received a packet that explains free and reduced lunches at Meet the Teacher Night. We understand that your child may not qualify for free and reduced lunches. However, we still NEED the free and reduced lunch form filled out and returned ASAP. If you need another form, please call us at 580-482-7742, and we will send one home with your student.
