Navajo Book Fair will begin Monday, September 18th and run through Monday, September 25th. Parent Night is Thursday, September 21st from 3:30PM-8:45PM. Students will have the opportunity to shop during the regular school day and during their library class time. Dear Parents/Guardians: Early today we received information of a possible threat. Law enforcement was contacted immediately. The report was investigated with the assistance of Jackson County Deputies and Oklahoma Highway Patrol Officers. After all possible sources of information were interviewed, it was determined that the report was not credible, and was not confirmed. A thorough search was conducted and no weapon was found. We appreciate the assistance of law enforcement in assuring that our students are safe.

Due to a report of a possible threat that has been denied at this time, Navajo Public School will have additional law enforcement security on campus today. We have been in contact with law enforcement and at this time feel that the threat is unsubstantiated. Navajo administration takes all reports seriously and will investigate this thoroughly with law enforcement involved.
The Junior High Navajo Indians Baseball team will play in Blair tomorrow, September 11th against the Blair Broncs! It will be a great day to watch ball!

Representative Kendrix visited our AG students yesterday as he and Mrs. Nance toured and discussed possible building updates for the AG/Tech Ed building as we approach Election Day next Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Community members living in the Navajo School District can vote in the upcoming school bond proposal to renovate and remodel the 43-year-old AG/Tech Ed building.
Mrs. House’s 5th grade science classes made oobleck today to wrap up their unit about matter! They learned that it has properties of both a solid and a liquid! What a fun and messy way to end their unit!
