Dear Navajo Community,
I would like to update you on things going on at Navajo. We are so excited to announce the New Indoor Training Facility/Weight Lifting classroom/Hitting Facility is finally complete! We have received Fire Marshall approval and have the occupancy permit in hand! A Huge " THANK YOU" goes out to ALL those individuals that have helped make this Dream come True! The financial donations, time/effort/sweat/work donations, professional/equipment donations, and all the support to complete this "State of the Art Facility" will be forever appreciated! "THANK YOU" "THANK YOU" "THANK YOU" to ALL who chipped in!
We have a Ribbon Cutting/Dedication event planned for Friday, March 15 , 2024. Time and details will be available soon! We hope you can come to this special event and tour the new facility! The building has been outfitted with batting cages, weight lifting/workout equipment and even mirrored walls to benefit Navajo students for many years to come! What a Blessing!
Work has also begun on the new AG/STEM/Woodworking Building! The Demo phase is complete, and we are currently working with civil engineers and conservation experts to make sure we solve the water drainage issues that we have struggled with for years around this building! The next step will be to put out bids for the exterior and interior work and get the building back in business! Our goal is to have it complete and ready for our students to return in August 2024 to start the new school year with a New AG/STEM/Woodworking Building for the 2024-2025 school year! "THANK YOU" Navajo community for passing this much needed bond to improve this facility for Navajo Students! We are so excited to get back in the New Building!
